Our history
1914
Foundation
The Bächler nursery in Muri BE was founded in 1914.
1979
Fusion
The nursery merges with Woodtli AG. Pink becomes the company color.
1988
Amendment
Resignation of Klaus Woodtli. Change of name to Bächler+Güttinger AG.
1990
Relocation
Move to the offices and depot on Bitziusstrasse in Berne.
1993
Restructuring
After the tragic death of Peter Güttinger, Ruedi Bächler takes over the shares and becomes the sole owner.
2001
Foundation of Bächler+Güttinger Holding AG by Kurt Hauser, Caspar Sgier and Walter Kohli
2010
New location
Move into the new depot in Kiesen.
2014
Commissioning of the office and factory in Gstaad.

K. Hauser becomes sole owner
2020-2022
Acquisition of the shares of K. Hauser by B+G Schweiz AG.

Anniversary and new appearance
Bächler + Güttinger AG celebrates its 111th anniversary. Due to the adaptation by B+G Schweiz AG, a new appearance of Bächler + Güttinger AG is created
