New group member in the greater Lake Zurich area.

Garten Holenstein AG joins B+G Schweiz AG

As part of a succession plan, the Bern-based gardening and landscaping group B+G Schweiz AG is taking over Garten Holenstein AG. Founded in 1982, Garten Holenstein AG is a well-established gardening and landscaping company and employs around 35 people at its Rapperswil-Jona site.

As a result of the merger, B+G Schweiz AG will now also be better represented in the city of Zurich and the greater Lake Zurich area. The acquisition therefore represents an important step towards further establishing the company as a supra-regionally active group and as a Swiss leader in landscaping and horticulture.

The merger will secure further growth for Garten Holenstein AG. The integration into the larger group provides broader support for the organization and secures an interesting and stable future for employees and long-standing customers. In addition, the employees of Garten Holenstein AG will benefit from the development and training programs of the entire group. Major synergies are also expected in technically and temporally demanding projects.
